Interesting comment, does MS really have something up their sleeves or are they just pulling a Sony ala 2006 here? Can MS really pour water on the negativity fire that has been blowing full-bore since their reveal, or are they just puffing on too much of the smoke from said fire?

Personally I can see MS very well have a better showing, they have a reported $1 billion war-chest for games, so that means they probably plan to snap up every game they can making rumors like Fall Out 4, Dragon's Age 3, and Mrror's Edge 2 all being X1 exclusive a bit more plausible, and those are titles that could dampen any fire that Sony has going on now.

This E3, Its going to be interesting, seems that MS is even more hellbent this upcoming gen in securing third party games than last, and with the state of gaming as it is and companies failing, many will probably be open to it since they get paid regardless.

E3 this year is going to be one of the most important of all time, MS can easily regain all its lost luster if they put on a hell of an show, and Sony could lose all momentum if they don't. Nothing up to this point really matters and I think most know that, its the E3 showings that are going to determine the path these launches really take.
